Is there any information about who made this cottage or who lived in it before Sierra? Any information whatsoever would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Nope, nobody knows and we will probably never know. It's basically a minor plot device.

I'm just guessing, but I think there's possibly more than one cottage in Dunan.
