Southlands

Post by YouKnowYouGeddoe »

I've always assumed that the Southlands are southwest of the Toran Republic on the northern continent, but is it possible that the term "Southlands" refers to Nagarea, New Armes, Zelant, etc.? Shin and Kasim, who are ostensibly from the Southlands, seem to share some characteristics of dress with the New Armes folks we've seen, and it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that there might be cultural connections between New Armes and its neighbors.

It does seem that Shin has similaritys to New Armes in terms of clothing.

The name Southlands might mean all the countrys in the South, including Armes and Nagaar. Zalant is improbable since its supposed to be over the ocean.
