- Karelron(includes a research institute- unknown if separate from city)

It's a separate facility. Like the Secret Factory we had in Suikoden.

- Small Village Of The State Border(Anybody know if theres an actual name?)

No name was given to the village. The location itself was called "Small Village Of The State Border".

I don't think there has been a name given to it yet.

It could be the destroyed village that Cray's son destroyed with the ROP and thats why it dosen't really have a name.
"It's called 'Sex Panther' by Odeon... It's illegal in 9 countries... Yep, it's made with real bits of panther so you know it's good."

"Are we about to get it on, 'cause i'm as hard as diamond in an ice storm..."

Yeah, it's the same village where Cray and his son lived. No name is given.

It's rather surprising though that a village doesn't get a name, when they went into the trouble of naming places like Zasta and Midoh.

That said, any idea which Scarlet Moon region is closest to the border village?

Probably Pannu Yakuta.

One of the people in the village says that "strange people come out of the northern forest." This can either mean elves or SME soldiers or something. It may possibly allude to that forest being the forest south to Pannu Yakuta.

I guess I personally hope that is the case as well, because it would make most sense considering how Pannu Yakuat is located out in the boonies. It'd make sense for that fortress to be a front against southern nations (although there isn't enough evidence to say anything conclusive).
