The island nations are where?

Questions about the locations mentioned in the series; and those about the backstory not seen in the games.

As far as I know, that map was last updated prior to the release of Suikoden IV, so it's not updated with the official map of the Island Nations yet. Keep in mind though, that apart from the locations shown on the maps included within the earlier three games, everything else on that world map is a fan speculation.

It's a pretty good fanmade map, but it's nowhere near being an official one. (In fact, there is no such thing as an official Suikoden world map to begin with).

Maybe SARS would update their map some time soon.

Nice map ^_^ but I kinda belive the Island Nations is much southward from the map- maybe?

Oh yeah I notice in the map- That Harmonia got it's border in the eastern side ^o^. In my own little mind I think Harmonia is not that small -I think it's more extended. And it kinda look the eastern part of the US base on it's geographic shape Hehheh.. New York!

Ok, this is SARS' modified map. It's just to indicate what I think Kooluk/IN are located.

That seems like a resonable localtion for Kooluk and the IN. I always thought it was near Kanakan though.

Remember, SARSAdmin made that map before Suikoden 4 came out...I think right after 3 he made it, so it was a total guess.

It's a fact, as stated in the game that the SME and Kooluk Empire border each other, so I made my guess based on that...and on the map in 4 you can see the little point that sticks down indicating where El Eal is, so I made my assumption based on that.

Hopefully SARSAdmin will update the map when he can.

Good at least that we know the Kooluk empire has had border disputes with Scarlet Moon empire, gives us a little to work with :P

I played suikoden 4's "clear game" and on the map it said Fort el eal was on the other side of kooluk than what that revised map said but thats what i remember seeing.

Well, obviously they're south but it doesn't say southwest/southeast....I doubt theyre directly south cuz obviously Kooluk and SME have many border clashes and the island nations appear to be south of Kooluk in the game.
