Lifespan of non-human races

I was wondering, how long do these non-human races in the suikoverse live on average? Kobolds.....Wingers......Ducks.......dragon-horses.......those kind of non-human races. Would anyone like to surmise about this? Of course, elves live long.....

Uhh....I'm so dumb and pertrified of Math......so......how does the average Kobold live? Humans have varying life expectancies per race/country. Anyone know what the average human lifespan is before we calculate the average lifespan of a kobold?

Is it also the same for Nay-Kobolds about their lifespans?

if the avergae human lifespan was 60 (figured that to be a good estimate) then the average lifespan of a kobold at 0.7 would be about 42.

for teh record, with something like that, it should just be a matter of something like this.

Human average lifespan x multiplier = avergae lifespan of tehr ace you want.

so with teh kobolds it would be 60 x 0.7 = 42.

if im wrong, math incline people please correct me.

Oh, I see.......Kobolds don't live that long.....
....but I don't know about Nay-kobolds....

Maybe Nekobold (I hate calling them Nay-Kobold) lives longer than Kobold since they're anthropomorphic cats... You know, the whole "cats have 9 lives" thing...

Oh~~~ I was thinking the same but I never thought it also applied to them......wow......so are their lives twice that of the average human lifespan?

Also, Elven lifespans vary a lot. The Lord of the Rings elves had lifespans of more than 10 000 years.......I wonder what the average Suikoden elven lifespan is......I guess it might be a lot lower than that....

i think i remember the elves mentioning it briefly in the first game, but since i still have my perfect 1 save i havnt played it in a long time

They really DID briefly mention something related to that? I couldn't recall when I played S1.......was it the Village leader who said that?...

Their lives span only 50 years...." theres more to it than that, but it definitely implies the average elf lives longer than 50 years. Using this summation, I would assume in the Suikoden world the average human life span of a non-uber mage human being would be 50. Making the kobold equation 50 x .7.

Wouldn't that make Gen. Ridley sound really old? He was 37 around the time of the Dunan Unification war......

Or was Sylvina just estimating the humans in their area.........humans look very capable of living far longer than that.

But as you said, it's your assumption and evaluation+interpretation of the data you gathered.....good job, everyone! But unfortunately, were not done with this issue yet........

When she says "they only live about 50 years or so" it is probably an exaggeration. There are plenty of characters around this age in the games and they don't look like they're on their last legs.

We also need to to look at the NPC characters.. a lot more of them are old in comparison to the 108 stars in each game, which are mostly younger fighters.

To Sylvia, whom it is implied has a very long lifespan, it must seem that Humans only live half a century, when it's more likely 60-70. Just like we might say for an inset that lives 9-10 days "It only lives about a week".

Urda was 46, and Isato was 60 during Suikoden V, and they weren't particularly old-looking. (hard to tell about isato though cuz he's bald but urda definitely looks half her age)

I guess Elves live several hundreds of years, but that's just a guess.


What about Dwarves? Does anyone know the ages of the dwarves we know?(Twaikin and those from S V)... I guess they live longer than humans, but again, just a guess.

And Lizards? Ducks? Winged People? Geeze, I don't have any idea.
