Most Suikoden characters don't have last names, so it must be his first name.
Yeah only "Important" people or Narcissists get a last name.

Arshtat, Sialeeds and Freyjadour Falenas sounds unique and cool. Any idea what language "inspired" SuikoV creators to name characters such? Those names really sound Royal.

Unfortinitly I cannot figure it out, but I do agree they are "Royal" sounding. The nice thing about Suikoden is it uses names from all sorts of differnt cultures, not just japanese.

Arshtat name comes from the Zoroastrian religion.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoroastrianism

Ashtad (Phl.): lit. 'rectitude, justice', name of a yazad presiding over justice; name of the twenty-sixth day of the month according to the Zoroastrian religious calendar. (Var. 'Arshtat')

Not sure about Freyjadour could be a reference to frey or freyja, though I kinda doubt it.

Farid may be form faridoon, but again not sure.
Faridoon (Pers.): name of a heroic king of ancient Iran who flourished centuries before Zarathushtra. (Var: Av. 'Thraetaona', Pers. 'Fariydun')

Lino en Kuldes is even stranger.

I always liked those names which explained their characters: Warlock. Ah, he's a Warlock. Good to know.

And your name? Chandler, hm? Oh, you're selling stuff, that makes sense.

Window and Melodye... great names, as well. I'm waiting for Door, Wall and Roof.
