Rowd may come back in a future title ( ) as a SOD. Plagued with guilt, with a cliche drinking problem and needing a shot at redemption before going out in a blaze of glory. Unless after Suikoden II our trio hunted him down on their trip and served him up a heapin' platter of cosmic payback.

I remember clearly in Vextor's website there was a hypothetical scenario about a future Suikoden and Rowd was included as well.

Anyway i don't think S2 trio would do anything to Rowd after the war was over. After all they weren't aware for his whereabouts.

Rowd never showed the slightest hint of remorse and the sprites at the time were capable of emoting. One thing's for sure, he would be wanted by the Dunan Republic for war crimes.

He didn't do anything to earn forgiveness. He didn't even show any pity for the boys as they were being beaten before their hanging, he just stood there gloating about his prospects.

A black rune would be the only reason to maybe forgive him, but he didn’t bear one. Perhaps he's got a fixed black rune in his heart slot...
