Any extra info on Mukumuku?

Most people don't really seem to question why he would be hiding in the tree up behind your house, save for it being an easter egg/early recruit for people on a replay through the game that decide to go get the hunter rune early - and bam, Mukumuku instead. Even Richmond only offers a throwaway line that Mukumuku sometimes visits Kyaro when not roaming around Greenhill.

But that's quite a distance for a lone flying squirrel to travel, just to randomly take up watch on your house. He joins without hesitation as if the character and him were friends, he helps Nanami break out of prison and follows you back. And then, if you choose to take the early-endgame path by running away, the art screen you're given shows Mukumuku sitting up on a treebranch outside of the cabin Riou and Nanami run away to, watching over them.

The fact that Mukumuku was included there made me wonder. Is there any additional material on him to warrant his traveling between Greenhill/Kyaro, or to be still watching over the pair when they run away from everything else? Maybe some official source saying he's a pet Riou or Nanami had?

If only there was some sort of website dedicated to Suikoden info that had some kind of character list that included official information on the characters...

That's interesting, though. I didn't know the characters had little info blurbs on them on the site. Where did Blue Moon get this information from? Some Suikoden magazine, a Suikogaiden release, some non-canon book? It doesn't seem to be sourced.

There are many books published by Konami, but in this particular case it'd be the Suikoden 2: 108 characters guide and the Suikoden Encyclopedia, which are only available in Japan.
