well, they did hint a little at the possibility of Shin and Teresa being a couple. But they never confirmed it.

But i can see that happening.

it was made clear that Shin liked Teresa, and it's highly possible that Teresa liked him back, but they never got together. After Suikoden II's war ended, Shin left and never came back. So NO, they were not and are not a couple as far as their story is told.

This happened to my older bro and my friend who didn't really have a clue about the game. They saw Chris in SIII then when I started playing SII, they were like "Is that Chris' mom!?". Yeah... they do somewhat look like each other, especially when Chris has non-braided hair.
