Who's in charge of this rune at the end of Suikoden III? What becomes of it?

True runes don't have to have a host? It seems strange that you beat up Luc, walk away, and just leave the rune.

Luc wasn't dead yet. The TWR would only leave after Luc's death and he died after everyone escaped so no one would ever be able to salvage the TWR because after his death the True Wind Rune just dissapeared.

True runes are sentient beings, unlike regular runes.

It will either seek out the nearest host, or simply hide itself until it feels like showing itself again..which could be in 6 months, or 100 years.

I have a theory that Nash has something to do with the TWR missing. Not much to base it on excpt for Nash worked under Harmonia, and it said he was gone exactly when the final battle ended.

I think Nash is just good at being gone from the scene exactly when the situation ends. He's a Spy afterall.

Didn't Luc remove the True Wind Rune from his body and put it in one of the pedestals? I mean, if it was still with him, he shouldn't have been killed since he was immortal, right? Anyway, I have this theory that when the final Suikoden appears and all the True Rune bearers probably gather and everything, Luc will show up again and take the True Wind Rune again. They could bring a rune crystal and salvage his soul somehow and put everything together again. The only problem's that he'd probably lack any motive to do anything except pass it on and kill himself again.

The True Runes don't make their bearers immortal, just ageless.

The kid is Sarah. The big girl is Leknaat. That was in the past.

Hence the faded colours.

This has been mentioned multiple times before.

Um, yeah I think the general consensus was ruins collapsing plus an enire army=immediate evacuation. Everyone wanted to get out of there intact. Self preservation is an amazing feature.

As far as Crowly's Apprentice is concerned... if you get all 108 stars and play his side it is pretty clear he is dead. And yes the little girl was a young Sarah, probably around the time that she was taken from Harmonia. It's mentioned in the game that she had been rescued from there.
