Luc and Sarah's 'abduction'

Were they taken by Leknaat at the same time? What was her purpose of taking them from Circle Palace?

I think the reason that Leknaat 'abducted' Luc is because he was made to be a lifeless vessel for the True Wind Rune. Although the same thing was done with Sasarai, he was raised to be more than a vessel, he was raised to be a bishop, and thus, he really didn't need anyone to rescue him from his life, whereas Luc did. And Sarah, if you look at her profile at Suikosource, you can see how she was mistreated. She also needed rescuing, as did Luc.

They were abducted/rescued at separate times. Actually, Luc was the one who took Sarah away from the Circle Palace, not Leknaat.

Just to add.

Sarah was considered a witch in her village and was taken by Harmonians to the Circle Palace in Crystal Valley. There she was rescrued by Luc. After that he took her to see Leknaat in the Magican Tower where supposedly she learned more magic from Leknaat.

It seemed more like Leknaat and Luc rescued Sarah. I probably just read it wrong in Suikoden Three.

Leknaat may have been there as well, but Luc does allude in his chapater that he was the one, when he says, "do you want to return to that room in Cyrtsal Valley?"

Yeah, I know about the part where Sarah was mistreated. Luc said that? Which part in his chapter?

It was at Le Buque after Sasarai recognized Luc formally as a Bishop. There she asked if the palace had changed. That's when Luc responded by asking her if she wanted to go back there.

Edit: Just in case people didn't understand, she was refering to The Circle Palace.

luc and leknaat took her away when she was little,the picture at the end of suikoden3 proves it,sarah was born with a flowing rune and leknaat taught her illusions and summoning
