Playing Suikogaiden in the U.S.

I just bought the Breaker Pro bootdisc, and a Japanese Suikogaiden, and the bootdisc wouldn't play it. (AARRGGHHH!!!!!!) My question is this: are there any bootdiscs that will actually work? Or do I need to buy a Japanese Playstation? Or is the solution to mod an American Playstation? Thanks.

The best solution is to play this game on an emulator, actually.

I'd say that you should try the swap trick, but I'm not sure if you can pull it off cross-region.
