I just finished the final boss, bringing Jeane was the right decision. She boosts the spell casting time greatly

Aila's Clay Guardian on the first turn is necessary to ensure my party takes minimal damage.
Also, keep the Earth rune(boss) alive so that the boss won't get many turns
Hugo is massively underskilled actually coz I rarely use him, Fubar is not so bad coz Fubar doesn't have that many skills anyway

The final boss completely trashed my usual party

yeah, Jeane is kinda the best support character by far in this game. Nothing better than being able just slightly out pace every enemy on spell casting.
