Anyone got Chris to learn the TWR's 4th spell?

Also, if you use lots of magic stones on her to get to 101, you need to gain a level before the spell appears.

Beeing unable to get any more spell points after reaching lv 99 is a persistant rumour, or was this ever confirmed?

I see two options:

• Magic Points are updated as well by using a hotel (Suikoden 1 alike)
• Even more likely: Magic points are updated by getting additional 1000 exp. The exp simply roll over after reaching lv 99 so it is quite possible the function checking and updating magic points is called here.

Celes, max magic points only update upon leveling up.

Looping EXP at level 99 doesn't do anything.


The only game that dynamically changes Max MP is Suikoden V, which will change with any equipment/skill boosts to the MAG stat.

At least Suikoden I updates MP by using an inn as well, so you can grind Magic Rune Pieces at level 99 ...

luckily Chris generally picks up 101 MGC in the mid-80's, so at least she can have a single use of 4th level magic opened up by level 99.

The only way I have seen it is by using the stat stone trick.

I've never had any problems getting it just through leveling trick the four times I did it. Her average magic by 99 is 119, so you'd have to be really unlucky to not get to just 101 by then.
