Can you load Suikoden III data into IV?

I looked around GameFaqs, Google, random question in several different forms of asking.. I feel like I'm just not asking it the way I could find my answer in. So I'm going to try here. Now, as I did look around, I saw there were quite a few high horses around restating the obvious and chiding people about things they already explained. I'm a feisty person, so.. There you go.

Anyway! My question.. sorry I ramble. Simple, it's been a long, long time. Can I load Suikoden III data into Suikoden IV? Because some happy little sticky fingers decided it would be fun to steal my Suikoden III disk and leave the case. -.- So now I'm wondering if I should wait, so I can load the data, or if it doesn't matter I'll just go ahead and replay IV.

No, you cannot.

The only possible transfers are:
Suikoden -> Suikoden II -> Suikoden III
(or in Japan: Suikoden II- Both Suikogaidens -> Suikoden III)
Suikoden IV -> Suikoden Tactics

That's it.

You cannot, as IV is chronologically before III.
