Save option?

Save option?
If I load Suikoden 2 data into suikoden 3 will it give me an option to make a S3 save before i start everyone's prologs? Or will I have to watch atleast 1 prolog before i can save like usual.
I'm a fan but I'm also a critic. Without preasure to improve stagnation is the future. Do not accept lackluster because of your enjoyment of the overall picture. Criticism is needed for improvement to be made.

you can save before any prologue iirc.
