Runes Guide
There are several different types of runes. Each character may equip between one and three runes, and some (such as McDohl and Valeria) have runes that cannot be unequipped. Certain elemental runes' level 4 spells can be cast by one or two characters simulatenously to produce Unite Magic (see Appendix).

Except for HeroII, the Kindness Factor will decrease by 1 point for a character who is unconscious after a battle. Once recruited, a character will start with a Kindness Factor of 0. The maximum Kindness Rune ATK bonus is +255, but there is a technicality...

Kindness Rune trick: Getting a character's Kindness Factor below zero cause ATK to become 999 when the Kindness Rune is attached.

Unite Magic
The 4th level spells of complimentary elemental runes can be cast by different users or one character with at least 2 level 4 spells to produce Unite Magic. The faster caster casts the Unite Magic and affinities do not affect the output of the spell, but the spell deals elemental damage of both elements.
