A Chef of the Imperial Palace in the Magedom of Janam, Wustum is known for cooking delicious and incredible food, pleasing the palates of all who eat them. However, as Danash was an incredible glutton and Shairah an alcoholic, he deemed those two were not worthy to eat such food and left the palace. The Mage Lord dispatched forces to retrieve him, and cornered Wustum in the Ch’olui mountains. Wustum finishes off the guards, and the Hero offers him asylum. When he questions whether or not the Company, allies of the Magedom, should harbor such a fugitive, the Hero believes that once they taste his cooking, no one will care.

Wustum takes it upon himself to aid Shams, whose taste buds are completely damaged due to eating like Danash and Shairah, and can only desire food that is so spicy it makes Manaril nearly choke. When he learns that people from the Empire of the North Star, who cook in a simple fashion designed to bring out the taste of the food, he has Chihaya aid in his tasks.

Wustum is extremely protective of his kitchen and doesn’t let anyone else cook inside of it. Although he relented to let Chihaya help Shams's taste buds, he outright refused to let Lathilda, Maybelle, and Savina inside to cook food for their men.

After the war ends, Wustum goes with Shams to Salsabil and serves as the royal cook. - Matt620
