The Elder of Citro Village and father to Marica and Sisuca, Rajim was the one who found the Hero as a newborn in a valley in the area around where the Fortress Ruins were found. He raised the baby as if he were his son, Sisuca serving as mother figure. Rajim is the one who sends the Citro Defense Corps to deal with Laggarts that had grown more vicious, all the while worrying for the safety of the younger ones. The Hero and his mantra of not knowing how things are going to turn out makes Rajim worry even more, but Dirk manages to reassure the Elder.

After the Hero returns from dealing with the Laggarts, he questions Marica about a woman who looks exactly like her roughly asking villagers for directions and information. He doesn’t actually believe it to be his daughter, as Marica would not need to ask for directions, but Marica decides to go after her. During this time, a world fusion occurred, changing the nearby valley to a forest. The Elder, not being a Starbearer, was not aware of the change, and, when offered the Chronicle, was not revealed to be a Starbearer.

When the Order troops come to raid Citro, and the Hero tries to stop him, Rajim comes to the Fortress Ruins. He reveals that the Order had always been trying to strong arm Citro into joining, but Rajim managed to keep them away. Rajim decides to stay at the castle to fight, but the Hero decides to send Rajim back, as they can’t leave Citro itself defenseless.

Rajim stays in Citro until the Hero retakes the Kingdom of Astrasia, when he visits the Hero’s Castle, becoming worried as he heard about the Hero’s disappearance into the Ravine of Infinity. Determine to smack some sense into the Hero and Liu, Rajim steps forward, only to come into contact with a False Chronicle, and be chosen as a Starbearer. Rajim doesn’t understand it, as he came into contact with Chronicles before and nothing happened, but stays on in the castle.

Rajim serves the company until the war ends, where he returns to Citro. Encouraged by the other villagers, he remains as elder his whole life. - Matt620
