A dark-furred Furious Roar member, Megion competed with Diluf to become King of the Tribe. Unlike humans, who used blood lineage, anyone could become the leader provided they were capable. The level-headed Megion was in stark contrast to Diulf’s more impulsive nature. Both were extremely popular and their succession threatened to tear the Tribe apart. With the advent of the One King coming, Megion stepped down from power and told the people to follow Diulf, believing that dealing with the One King was more important.

Megion lived apart from the people after his original world was destroyed, and came across the Hero, who surprised him by neither attacking nor running away in fear. Megion’s messengers, Eusmil and Nictis, soon come to Cragbark when they learn that the Wraith Soul had been stolen. Megion asks Diulf to meet him at some ruins north of the city, and the Hero offers to accompany him.

The Hero and Megion speak, which leads to Diulf and Megion getting into a fight. Diulf prevails. After the fight, Megion recalls that he seems to be forgetting something important about themselves and the name "The One King". The Hero uses his Chronicle, and Megion is revealed to be a Starbearer. Diulf offers Megion the chance to join the company. Although Megion becomes worried that the tribe may divide again, Diulf responds that the Hero is the leader, and all follow him.

Megion had a close bond with Cougar, who had asked Megion to stand down so that the tribe may not be divided while the One King threatened to destroy them all. Although it wasn’t the reason why Megion decided to step down, it was certainly a contributing factor. Diulf also comments that Megion is not only strong, but a great judge of character, and tells Eusmil that she insults Megion by taking notice of the Hero’s age; Megion himself would never judge someone on such a factor.

After the war, Megion and Eusmil have a child. They travel all over the world, visiting Diulf or the Hero every so often. - Matt620
