A Scribe girl, Len-Lien is the caretaker of the Elder Scribe, and is the only person who accompanies Lao-Kwan in the Great Tree. After Liu becomes the Elder, Len-Lien accompanies him.

Liu and Len-Lien are actually well acquainted and were very close when Liu lived in the Woodland Village. When Liu left the village, he had asked Len-Lien to accompany him, and she would have gone, did she not have her duty to the Elder.

Len-Lien thinks of Liu often, and keeps a green stone given to her by Liu, and is enchanted when she finds that Liu still has the one she gave him when she does his laundry.
