He is the son of Teo McDohl and was the leader of the Toran Liberation Army after the death of the original leader, Odessa Silverberg. After the Toran Liberation Army defeated the [Scarlet Moon] Empire, McDohl left without taking a position of leadership within the newly formed Toran Republic. He has been travelling with his servant, Gremio. He was briefly involved with the Dunan Unification War as well. - Blue Moon

How to Recruit: Speak to Koh in Banner Village any time after defeating Luca Blight. Listen to his plan and agree, then speak to Gremio/Ellie. Agree to save Koh from the mountain bandits.
Note: McDohl can only be recruited if you have save data from the last save point in Gregminster from Suikoden I. This data is loaded when you start a new game in Suikoden II. After recruiting McDohl, you can add him to your party if you talk to him in Gregminster.
